A van has been stolen from an Aberdeenshire farmer’s mart.
The white Peugeot Panther van was taken from Thainstone Mart, near Inverurie, last month and found later on the same day near Tarves.
The van was taken between midnight and 4am on Thursday, February 26 with police saying people at a nearby party may hold vital information.
Police said the van was stolen whilst a party was on-going near the mart, and urged anyone with information to come forward.
Police Constable Richard Barnwell, said: “The vehicle has been stolen from the Inverurie area and driven to Tarves, where it was found abandoned.
“There was a well-attended party in the area at the time and anyone who may have knowledge of this incident or who has seen something unusual or suspicious is urged to come forward and contact police.
“In addition, anyone who may have seen a white van travelling between Inverurie and Tarves between the times stated above should also report this to Police.”
