A nine-year-old boy has been reported to the authorities for vandalism to an Aberdeen club, police have confirmed.
The incident happened at the Sunnybank Club in the city’s Heathryfold area on March 11 and caused a number of windows to be broken.
Northfield Community Policing Team Inspector Kevin Wallace said: “We are committed to working with the community to keep the area safe and antisocial behaviour including vandalism is clearly not acceptable.
“We would ask for parents and those working with young people in the area to continue to promote this message which is one understood and supported by the majority of young people in the area. Enquiries into the vandalism are continuing and anyone with information can contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
