Many Scots will be waking up across the country confused as to what month it is, as snow is sweeping across parts of Scotland.
But don’t worry, the white stuff is set to have cleared by the evening.
Snow is reported to be falling across the central Highlands this morning across Deeside and parts of Moray, all the way east as far as Ballater.
Skye and parts of the west coast will also be getting heavy snowfall, including around Carnach and further north in Lubfearn.
The wintry weather is set to continue untill about lunchtime, with the snow turning into heavy showers, particularly across the north-east and Moray, with small pockets of snow still falling across Deeside.
But clear skies are expected to break through by the late afternoon, with sunshine forecast across most of the north-east, and light cloud cover with the possibility of smaller showers across the Highlands and West Coast.
