It’s Friday, but the week isn’t over yet and you still need to get to work on time. And it looks like you will this morning as there doesn’t seem to be any major problems so far.
The usual congestion is in place in the city centre at Union Street and around the Beach Boulevard Roundabout, but traffic is moving slowly across both of the bottlenecks.
Heavier traffic is building up on the A90 northbound between Wellington Road and Leggary Terrace south of the city, and at the other end of Aberdeen heavy traffic is also building up at Dyce Drive in both directions, and on the A947 junction coming into Dyce.
UPDATE: Queues are forming between Gray Street and Broomhill Place after temporary traffic lights have been put in place on Broomhill Avenue. Long-term roadworks on Bedford Road are also causing delays in the north of the city.
Outside of the city, traffic is also building up on the A90 north of Peterhead at Lunderton, where resurfacing work, temporary traffic lights and a convoy system are all in place.
In Moray roadworks are causing slight delays in Turriff, Keith and Aberlour, with temporary traffic lights in place on the B9025 at Deveron Bridge in Turriff, on the A96 in Keith near Bridge Street, and near Maggieknockater on the A95 near Aberlour.
And roadworks in Inverness, including temporary traffic lights, are causing delays in both directions on the A82 at the Dochgarroch junction.
UPDATE: Netherley road partially blocked due to a three car collision, queues are likely.
