Tributes have been paid to a young mum and dad killed in a horror smash on an Aberdeen road.
Dawn Watson, 24, and Steven Reiach, 23, were named locally today with friends saying the pair, who had a primary school age daughter, were “great parents”.
The collision took place between a grey Alfra Romeo and an orange KTM motorbike at around 8.50pm.
The 44-year-old driver of the car was uninjured.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Police Scotland can confirm that a 23-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman have died following a collision involving a motorcycle and a car on Hilton
Drive at its crossroads junction with Hilton Road, Aberdeen, at around 8.54pm on Wednesday, April 1, 2015.
“The collision involved a black and orange KTM off road motorcycle and a silver Alfa Romeo motor car.
“The 23-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene and the 24-year-old woman was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where she sadly died.
“The 44-year-old man who was driving the Alfa Romeo car was uninjured. No one else was involved in the collision.
“The road was closed for around five hours to allow for collision investigation to take place.”
Speaking from the scene Inspector Ian Kirkwood of Police Scotland’s road policing unit said that officers would be carrying out investigations until the early hours of the morning.
He added: “”Enquiries into the full circumstances surrounding this collision are ongoing and we would appeal to anyone who saw either vehicle prior to the collision to contact us on 101.”
The road was closed overnight and re-opened at around 6 am.
A friend of the pair, who didn’t want to be named, said: “They had a little girl Sophie.
“There’s nothing worse than two parents gone like that.”
Hilton resident Andrew Douglas, 25, said: “It’s a horrible thing to happen to anyone and it’s especially sad that they were so young.
“I can’t believe this has happened so close to home but I feel like it was only a matter of time before something awful like this happened.
“For the past few years the roads around Hilton have been treated like a speedway for motorbikes.
“Sometimes 5-10 bikes race up the hill at well past the speed limit and they cross that junction without slowing down or stopping to see if it’s safe.
“People complain about it all the time and nothing is done.”
