Community groups in Mull and the north-east have been awarded nearly £220,000 for projects that help combat climate change.
Udny Green Hall, in Ellon, Aberdeenshire will get £150,000 to improve energy efficiency at the community owned venue.
Mull and Iona Community Trust has been awarded £69,833 towards the establishment of a system to get people to share vehicles and other low carbon transport options.
The awards form part of £1.9million handed out by the Climate Change Challenge Fund to 26 project across Scotland.
Climate Change Minister Aileen McLeod said: “Climate change impacts on every person on the planet and I know that the projects announced today will make a real and lasting difference at a local level.
“We all have our part to play in tackling climate change and I welcome the efforts being made by hundreds of communities the length and breadth of Scotland to tackle the impacts of a changing climate within their areas.”
