Woman rushed to hospital after serious crash near Fraserburgh

A  woman has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary  a road traffic collision on the A98 Fraserburgh to Macduff Road.

Emergency services were given the call at around 10.15pm.

The incident involved only one vehicle and took place around two miles East of New Pitsligo.

The woman is believed to be in her late forties and injuries are understood to be serious.

Ambulance services left the scene at around 11.30pm.
