The fire started just outside Auchenblae near Laurencekirk and fire services were called out at 3.25pm. A Fire and Rescue spokesman confirmed that there was no passengers on the bus and no injuries. Two appliances and a water carrier from Stonehaven were sent to the scene and brought the blaze under control by 4.10pm.
