A major operation is still under way in the Torry area of Aberdeen, however, the armed police officers involved have now been stood down.
The intelligence led drug operation has been ongoing throughout the afternoon and police have confirmed the searches will remain ongoing.
A police spokesman said: “An intelligence drug operation has been conducted today in the Torry area with specialist officers including fire arms officers who were deployed as an operational contingency.
“Fire arms assets have now stood down and searches and inquiries are being progressed by divisional officers.
“The search is going on as long as it needs to. Anyone with information in relation to drug dealing activity is advised to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers.”
