Police are hunting two men after a murder attempt on a pair of men from Aberdeen in Edinburgh left both “seriously injured” last night.
The men had travelled down to Edinburgh on the understanding they would be buying a vehicle in the Capital.
They were attacked at around 6pm in Wardieburn Place West in the city’s Pilton area.
The pair were both left seriously injured with one in hospital in a “critical” condition after their attackers fled the scene.
The first is a white man, between 17 and 19, with a central belt accent and light hair which is shaved at the sides. He was wearing a light sky blue hoodie and grey jogging bottoms.
The second is a white man in his mid-twenties with a stocky build wearing a striped top.
Police say the attack happened in daylight and are confident there were a number of witnesses who may be able to help them.
