Man, 60, dies after medical incident on Aberdeen’s King Street

A man has died following a medical emergency on Aberdeen’s King Street.
Police were informed that the man had taken unwell at 11.45am on Wednesday.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police do not believe it to be suspicious.
Emergency services attended the scene on the busy city centre street.
Two police cars and three ambulances have been seen outside Gibb Tools on King Street at around 12.30pm.
It is understood that one lane was closed on the road while police appeared to be questioning people in the area.
Report going to Procurator Fiscal
A police spokesman said: “We received a report that a man had taken unwell on King Street, Aberdeen, around 11.45am on Wednesday, March 1.
“Emergency services attended but the 60-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The death is not believed to be suspicious and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
