Nearly 30 firefighters tackled a blaze at a former school in Aberdeen last night.
Four units made their way to the former Victoria Road school in Torry at 2.15am when the alarm was raised.
The flames took hold of the south end of the building in the ground and first floor.
A spokeswoman for Scottish Fire and Rescue said the inferno had been put out just before 4am.
She added: “27 firefighters tackled the fire and they were stood down at 3.47am.”
A spokesman for the police said officers were still in attendance this morning.
He added: “A joint investigation between Police Scotland and Scottish Fire and Rescue will take place to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.”
