Firefighters have used specialist cutting gear to free someone after a car careered off an Aberdeenshire B road.
Fire chiefs sent two appliances from Inverurie after the one vehicle accident on the B9170 Oldmeldrum to Iverurie was reported to them at about 10.40 am.
Crews had to remove the roof of the car to rescue to the person in the car which is about two miles from Inverurie.
There are no details on the person’s injuries at this stage but police were not called to the scene.
A fire service spokeswoman said: “We are still at the scene. The car went off the road.”
