UPDATE: Road cleared following collision

Emergency services have left the  B9170 Oldmeldrum to Inverurie road after a car careered off the Aberdeenshire road earlier this morning.

The incident took place at around 10.40am and fire chiefs sent to appliances to the scene.

Firefighters used cutting gear to remove the car’s roof and free the woman who had been driving, around two miles from Inverurie.

Ambulance services also attended the scene but it is not clear at this stage how serious her injuries are.
