More than £10,000 of equipment stolen from Aberdeenshire drilling firm

Thousands of pounds worth of equipment was stolen in a raid on an Aberdeenshire drilling firm’s premises.

M-I Swaco, a drilling fluids company in Westhill, was targeted by thieves who took several TVs, laptops and headphones valued at more than £10,000.

The theft happened between Tuesday, April 7, at 6.40am and Wednesday, April 8, at 5.30am.

The thieves are believed to have battered down a door to get into the property in Arnhall Business Park, then caused damage inside the building itself.
