Police investigating ‘hazardous chemicals’ on two Aberdeen streets

Police are currently investigating potential hazardous chemicals on two streets in Aberdeen as part of an ongoing investigation.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “We are currently on the scene of an investigation into hazardous chemicals.

“There is no link to terrorism and there is no threat to the public.

“There is no need for the public to take precautions and they should continue on their business.”

It is understood that the investigation began yesterday and that there have been no arrests as a result.
