Police have launched a probe after a man was found mysteriously injured on an Aberdeen street.
The 34-year-old was picked up by ambulance and taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary at around 10.30pm on Tuesday night.
Ambulance chiefs then informed police of the man’s injuries.
It is thought he may have been attacked.
A police spokesman said: “Police Scotland is investigating after we were made aware of a 34-year-old man having suffered injuries in the St Machar Drive area of Aberdeen on Tuesday, April 21, at around 10.30pm.
“The man was taken by ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
“Inquiries are ongoing into how he became injured.
“Anyone with any information should contact police.”
The condition of the man’s injuries was not known last night and it was not clear if he was still in hospital.
