The gruesome find came at around 5am on Monday morning in a flat in the Maltman Grove area of the city. Officers had been called to investigate after concerns were raised for the occupant of the flat. But a police spokeswoman said “there were no suspicious circumstances” in relation to the deaths of the animals. She said: “We were called to an address at around 5am on Monday after concerns were raised for a person in the Maltman Grove area. “Several deceased hedgehogs were discovered by officers. “There are no suspicious circumstances.”
