An award-winning Doric comedy, Fooshion, is coming to a number of Aberdeenshire venues next months.
The show, from Charles Barron’s Fleeman Productions, takes a look the funny side to live in 90s Aberdeen.
It is directed by Liz Loggie and stars Jill Hay, Yvonne Morton, Sheila Reid, Julie Hutton and Scott Neish.
It will play at Midmar Village Hall on Thursday, May 14, Kemnay Village Hall on Friday, May 15, and Aberdeen Arts Centre on Saturday, May 16.
It will then go on to New Deer Community Hall on Wednesday, May 20, Stonehaven Town Hall on Friday, May 22, and Lossiemouth’s Warehouse Theatre on Saturday, May 23.
It will also play Tullynessle and Forbes Hall on Wednesday, July 1, Inverurie’s Wyness Hall on July 2 and 3 and Culter Village Hall on Saturday, July 4.
Al performances will start at 7.30pm.
Towie Pipe Band is holding a soup and sweet lunch on Saturday, May 9, in Alford Public Hall.
Tickets are £8 or £4 for children. Admission is by ticket only.

The Banchory Lions Book Fair will be held this Saturday in Banchory Town Hall from 10am until noon.
There will be more than 4,000 second-hand books to choose from – all at 50p – while children’s titles will be just 10p each.
All funds raised at the event will go towards helping local community groups and individuals.
