A 46-year-old woman has been found dead at a house in Aberdeen.
Police were called to the property on Belmont Gardens, in the Berryden area of the city, on Thursday at 7.45pm.
Officers are treating the death as unexplained, but said there were no suspicious circumstances.
An investigation has been launched by officers.
The grassy area behind the Belmont Gardens development has been taped off, with police still standing guard by a large blue tarpaulin today.
A police spokeswoman said: “Around 7.45pm on Thursday April 27, officers were called to a report of the sudden death of a 46-year-old woman on Belmont Gardens, Aberdeen.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained, however there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.
“Inquiries are ongoing.”
