From screening parties to street parties, communities across Aberdeenshire have been celebrating the crowning of King Charles.

Red, white and blue flags and party hats added a splash of colour to a grey Saturday as coronation celebrations got under way.
Hundreds of people came together to celebrate the crowning of King Charles, with plenty more events taking place tomorrow.
Balmoral Castle hosted a big screen showing of the Westminster Abbey ceremony, with scores of people flocking to Deeside for the event. Others attended more community-focused screenings in village halls in Methlick, Turriff and Ballater.
