Coronation celebrations continued around the north-east today, with friends and families gathering for more street parties and picnics.
Despite the dreich weather in Aberdeen, the sun was shining as hundreds of people flocked to toast King Charles III in Ballater – a village he holds close to his heart.
In Inverurie, scores of people turned out for a huge family-friendly street party in Market Place. Bands entertained the crowds and there were plenty of food trucks to keep energy levels high.
For the younger guests there were also plenty of activities, including a mini funfair.
The weather didn’t dampen spirits however, with youngsters getting the chance to try archery and zorbing for free as live music from the likes of Iron Broo filled the air.
Check out our gallery of photos from across Inverurie, Ballater and Aberdeen today.
