Five signed, limited edition prints by the revered north-east artist Eric Auld will go under the hammer at a fundraising auction this evening.
The works are among more than 100 lots up for grabs at the annual fundraiser in aid of Clan Cancer Support.
Bidders will also be able to get their hands on a whole range of furniture, art, ceramics, jewellery, vintage items and other curios which will be auctioned to raise cash for cancer patients and their families across the north-east of Scotland, Orkney and Shetland.
Other highlights will include a first edition of A.A Milne’s Winnie the Pooh, a vintage Jane Shilton bag and purse and a small Chanson accordion.
Lorna Gates, Clan’s senior shop manager, said: “Our annual auction has established itself on the calendar of many of the north-east’s antique lovers, and this year’s event is set to be no exception with a range of fantastic items primed to generate a high level of interest.
“The pieces on offer have all either been sourced from our various charity shops or donated directly to Clan, enabling all proceeds from the evening to go towards our provision of free support services to anyone affected by cancer throughout the north-east of Scotland, Moray, Orkney and Shetland.
“The theatre of a live auction is always special and I’m sure there will be a high level of excitement generated on the night. It’s a great chance for individuals to have fun and purchase a range of quality antiques all while helping support Clan and its work.”
The auction will take place tonight from 7pm to 10pm at the Clan House on Westburn Road.
Tickets cost £5 and can be purchased from any of the charity’s shops, as well as at Clan House.
Light refreshments will be available.
