A number of emergency crews are currently attending an incident at an Aberdeen flat.
Police were called to the flat in the city’s Waulkmill Crescent around 2.20pm this afternoon, following a call about the incident, which is believed to be related to drugs.
Ambulance crews also attended the scene where they treated one male, however, they were forced to call for further specialist emergency crews.
An ambulance service said “a number of crews” are in attendance, including a special operations unit.
A police spokesman confirmed: “Police Scotland have assisted Scottish Fire and Rescue Service following concerns for a 40-year-old man in the Heathryfold area of Aberdeen, who has since been taken to ARI.
“Police attended a residential property at at approximately 2.20pm on after an unknown substance was found and SFRS is carrying out an assessment.
“There is and has not been any danger to the public during this incident.”
