The incident occurred just after 2pm when a man presented a weapon at a staff member before taking off with £500. The employee was left shaken but uninjured. Officers are keen to talk to a man who is described as 6ft a slim build and blue eyes. He was wearing a dark jacket, blue jeans, white trainers and a brown or khaki coloured hat with fur lined ear covers at the time of the incident. A man who assisted the shop worker at the scene is also asked to come forward. Anyone with information should Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous.
