Woman taken to ARI after car hits tree on Aberdeenshire road

A woman was taken to hospital yesterday morning after a 4×4 crashed into a tree on an Aberdeenshire road.
The accident, involving a purple Subaru Forester, happened on the A944 Aberdeen-Alford road, near Westhill, around 10am.
Police and ambulance services attended the incident after the vehicle went off the road.
A police spokesman said the woman had suffered “minor injuries”, adding: “We got the call at 10.05am, it was a car that hit a tree. One woman was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for checks. It was very minor.”
