Members of Aberdeen’s 1990 Scottish Cup winning side are to host a fund-raising lunch on behalf of a north-east charity.
Theo Snelders, Neil Simpson, Paul Mason, Willem Van Der Ark, Robert Connor will be among the former players taking part in a question and answer session during the event at Norwood Hall Hotel on June 19.
BBC sports presenter Richard Gordon, a keen Dons supporter, will compere the afternoon.
North East Sensory Services, (NESS), which is based in Aberdeen, with offices in Dundee and Elgin, will benefit from the event.
Graham Findlay, chief executive for NESS, said: “We are delighted that so many of the ex-players are able to come along to the celebration – and we expect to be able to announce more names in the near future. It will be an historic event and a good chance for all AFC fans to relive the glory days.”
