Pupils from a north-east school are celebrating reaching the final of the prestigious Rock Challenge.
The Peterhead Academy team secured their place in the last stages of the contest in Grimsby thanks to a strong showing at the AECC earlier this year.
The Be Your Best event in March promoted positive and healthy lifestyle choices for youngsters.
Teams ranging in size from 10 to 135 took to the stage to deliver a performances using skills such as dance, drama and design.
George Cooil, chairman of the Be Your Best Foundation, said: “It has been a pleasure to watch such a diverse and high quality range of performances already so far on this year’s tour.
“It really is rewarding to see how the youth of today can flourish in a 100% drug, tobacco and alcohol free environment.
“Whilst it is great for the finalists to have qualified, every single participant involved in this year’s competition should be really proud of themselves as the commitment and dedication has been clear to see and the standard of performances higher than ever.”
It is expected that more than 2,000 VIPs, sponsors and supporters will descend on the Grimsby Auditorium in June to support the teams in the final.
More than 320 schools from across the country have taken part in this year’s challenge.
