Two cars collided at around 4.30pm on Granitehill Road in the Cummings Park area of the city yesterday. Police, fire crews and ambulances attended the scene of the crash, which involved a silver Ford Focus and red Ford Fiesta. Paramedics treated one casualty, who was described as “walking wounded”. There were no other injuries and the road was cleared by 4.45pm. A police spokeswoman said: “There was a two-vehicle collision outside Hall and Tawse joinery on Granitehill Road. “There were no serious injuries.” A fire service spokeswoman said: “We sent two appliances to the scene to make sure it was safe.”
