Police received reports of an accident on the A93 Aberdeen to Aboyne road at Dinnet, close to the Dinnet Garage, shortly after 5pm. A spokesman for the Scottish Ambulance Service confirmed an ambulance responding to a 999 call was involved in the collision. Both a road and air ambulance were dispatched to the scene and the fire and rescue service also had to cut one person from their car. Police on the scene of the crash A paramedic and another person have now been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. It is understood their injuries are not life-threatening.
