Four men have been arrested following an alleged altercation between two groups of men in Aberdeen last night.
The men, aged 23, 24, 44 and 49 have been detained in connection with reports of related disturbances in the Springhill Crescent and Nigg Way areas of Aberdeen between 9.30-10pm last night.
Nigg Way was closed between the A90 Stonehaven Road junction and the Maxwell Crescent junction, however, has now been re-opened.
A police statement said: “Police are appealing for information regarding several males and three vehicles, a green motorcar described as a people carrier, a blue coloured Toyota Corolla and a dark coloured Ford Focus which were seen in the area at the time.
“It’s believed the vehicles travelled together between Springhill Crescent and Nigg Way.
“Anyone who was in these areas of the city at the time, and who believes they saw anything suspicious, is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, or alternatively if they wish to remain anonymous, they can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
