Thousands of runners and spectators turned-out for the Baker Hughes 10k in Aberdeen today.
Lord Provost George Adam got the race under way from the Beach Boulevard and early morning sunshine meant some sweaty conditions for runners.
The race, which attracted runners of all abilities, headed out towards Aberdeen Harbour before heading along the beach esplanade and looping back round the Kings Links golf course.
Fun runners included an American football team with all their gear on, firemen kitted out as if heading to an emergency and a man boldly wearing a mankini..
One of the fun-runners was also Press and Journal reporter Stephen Walsh. The fleet-footed journalist completed the race in 54 minutes.
