Aberdeen street cordoned off due to “police incident”

Police cordoned off an Aberdeen street this morning due to an “ongoing incident”.

Officers were called to Balnagask Avenue at around 4am today.

A spokeswoman for the force however said that they had now been stood down.

She added: “There was an incident involving a male at 4am this morning.

“The street was cordoned off for people’s safety and we have now left the area.”
