A water main has burst close to Aberdeen Airport this morning.
Police were called out to Dyce Drive at 6.30am after a passer by spotted a large amount of water on the road.
Scottish Water have been called to the scene to address the burst main.
A police spokeswoman said: “At around 6.30am we were made aware that there was water on Dyce Drive near the filling station.
“We are not aware of any traffic disruption.”
A spokesman for Scottish Water said: “We have attended to a burst water main on Dyce Drive, near the entrance to Aberdeen International Airport this morning and have made alterations to our network to ensure supplies stay in place to nearby homes and businesses.
“Repair work is now being planned to reinstate the road and footpath.
“We apologise to local people affected by this issue with our network and we wish to assure them that we are working to reinstate the road and footpath as soon as possible.”
