A third by-election has been announced for a council ward in Aberdeen.
The George Street and Harbour seat is currently held by SNP councillor Andrew May, who is standing down.
The vote will take place on October 1.
The announcement follows confirmation of two other by-elections – for the Kincorth, Nigg and Cove ward and the Hilton, Woodside and Stockethill ward – following the election of former SNP councillors Callum McCaig and Kirsty Blackman to the UK parliament.
Details of polling places will be announced at a later date.
