Three people have appeared in court on a series of charges after police recovered more than £1,000 of Class A drugs from a home in Aberdeen.
Beverly Anderson, 46, Stuart Anderson, 28, and Devon Betty, 28, all appeared in private at the city’s sheriff court yesterday accused of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug.
They all faced a further charge of being in possession of illegal substances.
All three made no plea when they appeared in front of Sheriff Alison Stirling and they were released on bail.
Their case was continued for further examination and they are expected to appear in court again within a week.
A fourth person had also been detained by police on Tuesday following the execution of a drug search warrant in the Seaton area of the city. This led to officers recovering £1,200 worth of crack cocaine and heroin.
However last night a spokesman for the Crown Office said: “The procurator fiscal at Aberdeen also received a report concerning a 28-year-old man.
“After full and careful consideration of the report, the accused was liberated from custody and did not appear in court.
“The case remains under consideration by the procurator fiscal.”
