The incident happened around 7.50am on Tuesday, May 26, on George Street, near the Butchers Arms. The 29-year old victim was approached by another woman who assaulted her, before making off along Hutcheon Street and turning onto Fraser Road. A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “This was an unprovoked attack. “The victim suffered minor injuries but was left extremely shaken as a result.” The attacker is in her late 20s or early 30s, about 5ft 8ins and had blonde hair. She was wearing a grey top and trousers. Anyone with information is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers.
