Pupils were evacuatated at Fernielea Primary School, on Stronsay Place, after a small fire broke out in the kitchen. Crews were called at around 10.38 am and spent less than ten minutes extinguishing the blaze. A fire service spokesman said: “We had two pumps attend and got the stop message back at 10.44 am. “There were no injuries.”
