Image: DC Thomson. A 47-year-man is expected to appear in court today following a disturbance in Peterhead. Queen Street was cordoned off at both ends by officers at around 6pm on Sunday. A 47-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident. Officers remained in the area for some time and the cordon was lifted at around 10.50pm. The man is due to appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court today. A police spokeswoman said: “Around 6pm on Sunday, 16 July, officers attended at Queen Street in Peterhead following a report of a disturbance. “The road was closed and a 47-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident. “No one was injured and the road re-opened around 10.50pm. “The man was due to appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court on Monday, July 17.”
