The theft happened overnight between Thursday and Friday when the culprits stole 30 lobster creels. Officers believe a large van or truck would have been used due to the size of the creels. Constable Andrew Adam from the Stonehaven Police Office said: “Thefts of this kind can often be directly linked to people’s livelihoods and as such have an impact on the local community.” Anyone with any information which could help police is being asked to contact 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
