Firefighters are tackling a major fire in the disused Torryburn Hotel in Kintore this evening.

Dramatic pictures showed flames engulfing large parts of the building with several fire crews trying to contain the blaze.

There are no reports of casualties in the incident which started at 11.30pm.

Fire services sent four pumps, a height vehicle, and incident support unit and two water carriers to the scene and are still combating the fire.
