Firefighters were also called to the former Torryburn Hotel in Kintore at 11.29pm last night. Fire services sent four pumps, a height vehicle, and incident support unit and two water carriers. Firefighters battled the blaze for more than four hours, with the stop message coming back at 3.55am however they remained on scene this morning. A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “A fire investigation is due to begin later today.” A police spokesman confirmed an investigation had been launched. Nobody was injured in the incident.
