Image: Google Street View An Aberdeenshire road was blocked following a single-vehicle collision near Strichen. The incident happened on the A981 New Deer to Fraserburgh road, south of Strichen, at around 7am. Police and paramedics attended. There were no reports of any injuries. A police spokesman said: “Around 7am on Tuesday, August 15, we received a report of a crash involving one-vehicle on the A981 near Strichen. “Emergency services attended and there were no reports of any injuries. Recovery of the vehicle was arranged.”
