Police have launched a fresh appeal for information following a suspicious fire at a north-east hotel on Monday.
Officers are looking to speak to a number of youths who were seen near the Torryburn Hotel, Kintore, before the blaze broke out at around 11.40pm that night.
A joint police and fire investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Inspector Jon Millar from the Garioch community policing team said: “We are keen to trace a number of youths who were seen in the area during the early and late evening on Monday.
“Inquiries so far show that a number of youths have been in the area of the hotel over the last few weeks and months who we would also like to speak to.
“Although we are keeping an open mind regarding the cause of the fire, I would appeal for these people to come forward and assist us with our investigation.
“I would also appeal for any parents or friends of these youths who may have information to contact us on 101 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
