Shocking footage has been revealed showing a diver of a Stagecoach Bus using his mobile and reading paperwork with passengers in the back.
At one point he is even spotted supposedly attempting to film the cyclist who caught him on camera.
Stagecoach have said they are investigating the incident
The incident took place on the A944 Aberdeen to Strathdon road at 5.16pm on Wednesday.
The footage was captured by Aberdeen Cycle Cam, who explained the incident.
He said: “Whilst I was cycling on the road due to the poor design of the cycle path crossings, I was honked by this bus driver and I honked back – no biggie.
“Two minutes later I caught up with the bus and I saw the driver was checking his papers, completely disregarding the safety of his passengers.
“And finally, four minutes after that, the bus passes me, with the driver holding his mobile phone trying to film me.
“I’m sure the good people at Stagecoach will want to have a serious conversation with this driver once they see this video.”
A spokeswoman for Stagecoach said: “We have been made aware of the incident and are carrying out an investigation.”
