A north-east cancer charity will host a special Father’s Day walk giving people the chance to come together in memory of their loved ones.
The Clan Cancer Support event will take place at Aberdeen’s Westburn Park from 10am until noon on Sunday.
The charity is inviting families, friends and individuals to walk a route around the scenic park.
Participants can also choose if they wish to be sponsored to raise funds for the charity.
Clan introduced the Father’s Day Walk last year following an enthusiastic response to its Mother’s Day walk.
The charity’s fundraising manager, Susan Crighton, said: “Celebratory days like this can be tough for people, especially if they have recently lost a loved one, and we want to turn it into something positive.
“This is an opportunity for individuals to come together and mark this poignant day with us as they remember the cherished memories they have of the lives of their family members.
“You can tackle the route once, or as many times as you like, and it is suitable for people of all ages and abilities.”
Registration costs £5 and should be completed prior to the event.
Children may walk for free but must be accompanied for an adult.
