The funeral of a Deeside teenager who died when his car burst into flames will be held this week.
Jordan Milne, from Lumphanan, was alone in his black MG when it collided with a silver Mercedes in the early hours of June 13.
The 18-year-old’s car landed on its roof and burst into flames.
Mr Milne died at the scene of the crash on the A93 Kincardine O’Neil to Aboyne road, while four people from the other car were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Friends described the young mechanic, who lived on a farm at Lumphanan, as a “genuine lovely guy” who would be missed.
His funeral will be held at Aboyne Dinnet Parish Church on Friday at 1pm, before a burial at Lumphanan Cemetery.
His family have asked people to wear colourful clothing.
They have also requested that in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Mid Deeside Young Farmers.
