Image: DC Thomson. The A93 has reopened following a crash near Aboyne yesterday morning. The collision occurred on the A93 Aboyne to Banchory road, between Rosehill and Dess. Emergency services were scrambled to the scene, east of Aboyne. Police closed the road to all traffic for several hours as rescue efforts got under way. A number of police cars remain at the scene of a collision on the A93 near Aboyne. Image: Jasperimage. It is not yet known if there have been any reported injuries. This afternoon, officers remain at the scene as inquiries into the crash continue. In a statement, a police spokesman said: “Officers are currently in attendance at a crash on the A93 east of Aboyne.” The road reopened to traffic at around 7.30pm on Thursday night.
