Police in Aberdeen made a precautionary check at Air Products’ office at Westhill’s Enterprise Drive in the hours after the deadly attack in France.
Officers were seen visiting the industrial estate shortly after news broke that the company’s Saint-Quentin-Fallavier site had been targeted.
A spokesman for the force stressed that there had never been any indication workers in Aberdeenshire were at risk, nor did they expect anything to happen.
He said “passing attention” was paid to the site, as police would do with any major incident with links to the north-east.
He said the force’s main aim was to “reassure” people working for the firm connected to the terror attack.
