Police are searching for an Aberdeen taxi driver who picked up a bare-footed “distressed” woman from a city street.
Officers are investigating a domestic incident that happened at a flat in the Market Street area in the early hours of Sunday, May 31.
Last night, the force said it wanted to speak to a taxi driver who picked up a woman from outside the Clydesdale Bank on Union Street following the incident.
The man, who is in his 50s, dropped her off at an address in the Mastrick area shortly after 5.30am.
The woman is described as being around 5ft2 with blonde hair, and was wearing a red blouse and black leggings.
She had no shoes on her feet.
Anyone with information – or who may have seen the woman around this time – should contact Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous.
